I’ve been looking forward to Little Sugar all year, because within the scope of the Grand Prix, it’s the only singletrack mountain bike race. While I love the challenge of the gravel events, being the fact that I have a mountain bike background, the singletrack is where I feel most at home.   I think … More Little Sugar Mountain Bike

I’ve been racing for a long time. The stakes have gotten higher, expectations have raised, and the overall intensity has continued to elevate. But what’s interesting, is the emotions seem to raise as well.  In some ways, I would have guessed that I would mellow over the years. I would have thought the excitement would … More Chequamegon

It’s hard to believe that this was my 6th time pulling on the USA skinsuit to represent my country at a mountain bike World Championship event. Each time I’ve been named to the World’s team, my expectations of myself have been raised, but the weight of wearing that jersey never lessens, and honestly, I hope it … More 2025 World Championship

Watch the Film! https://youtu.be/vohBABimUoU The night before the White Rim FKT I sat on the edge of the bed in the Airbnb looking at all of my notes, nutrition, and equipment laid out in front of me.  I looked up at Clayton and said, “I’m not sure if I’m ready.” He responded, “We’ve been planning … More The White Rim FKT

This year I lined up for my 5th Leadville. It never gets any easier and the emotions never lessen. Walking around the venue and standing on the start line with thousands of other people pursuing a goal is nothing short of electrifying. I get choked up even thinking about it. While the time we’re shooting for … More Leadville 100

These days it seems like we race “important” races all the time. Every race we line up for seems to be labelled as a “big” event. To me, The National Championship really holds a special weight, though. It’s an event that transcends the sport. Even someone who knows nothing about cycling knows what it means … More XCM National Championship

Unbound is a beast and not just because it’s 202 miles, but because anything can happen. Nothing is guaranteed. Unbound doesn’t care how many hours you spent training, how much you spent on equipment, the time you spent tire testing, or the days you spent traveling. You’re not promised anything. We invest all of that … More Unbound 200

The Whiskey 50 has a special place in my heart, partially because of how it crushed me the first year I did it. The first year I showed up to the Whiskey 50 was in 2018. I thought I was going to take the course by storm, instead it chewed me up and spit me … More Whiskey 50

Even though I’ve already travelled overseas for some high-level racing, it feels like Sea Otter is always the official/unofficial start to the season. Once the entire bike industry descends onto the ground of the Laguna Seca Raceway in Monterey, California, we’re off to the races (both literally and figuratively).  I’ve been coming to Sea Otter … More Sea Otter Classic 2025

I love starting my season with a Stage race. Not only is the stage race format a great way to see achieve fitness and training from racing, but it’s like a crash course in remember all the ins and outs of performance.  Across the 4 day race I am testing out new warm ups that … More Mediterranean Epic
